Once having afternoon tea with friends, I met Mr. Huang Zhiqing. Ken gave me the feeling of easygoing and sunshine, he is very friendly and kind. Although it is just a new acquaintance, we have already talked very speculatively.

Although it was only a short talk for an hour, I fully felt his enthusiasm and devotion to art. Seeing his paintings, I was amazed by his use of color and lines. His oil paintings are very special, which I have never seen before. He said that this is his style, and his paintings made me feel what is called a splendid life.

Huang Zhiqing was born in Malaysia, and his ancestral home is Puning City, Guangdong Province (from Chaoshan). Graduated from Penang Areca Academy of Advertising Graphics

Department of Design and Department of Fine Arts, and later studied in the Institute of Fine Arts.

In 1994, he won the Best Student Award of the Advertising Graphic Design Department. "Root Series-4" watercolor works won the Penang Outstanding Young Artists Award

Watercolor works were selected for the exhibition of contemporary young painters in Malaysia: 1996. "Song of Green-2" watercolor works won the Silver Award of Penang Outstanding Young Artists.

In 1997, he founded Yihang Art Guidance Center and has served as the dean until now. He is also a curator and has planned many joint exhibitions.

In 1999, the oil paintings of "Penang Botanical Garden" were included in the Penang Painters Guidebook (page 80). 2000 "Watching the Rain"

"Run Green Forest" watercolor works won the Excellence Award of the National Watercolor Creation Awards in Malaysia; "Evergreen" watercolor works in 2001

Won the 1st Setia Outdoor Art Judging Award; In 2007, the oil painting "Beautiful Home" was included in the Penang Painters' Best Works

Series (page 231) 2015 "Spring Warm Mountain Green" oil painting works were listed on the back cover of Hong Kong Literary Magazine.
